Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Tom became an apprenticed carpenter by the age of 18, learning to build replications of traditional American furniture. In 1990, he designed and built his first wine cellar. Together with his son and business partner, Mike, Tom continuously adds to his list of 300+ completed cellars.
With a strong interest and background in creative design, Mike joined the team on a part-time basis in 2006, making the leap to business partner to his dad in 2010. He continues to astonish clients by creating extraordinary wine cellars as the in-house designer.
