Tychson Hill

Tychson Hill

This special cellar is situated north of St. Helena, California.  It is located at Tychson Hill, a vineyard first planted by Josephine Tichson, a pioneering female winemaker in California. The original home dates from the early 1900’s and the historic renovation converted the root cellar into a spectacular win cellar. Local materials were utilized including Sonoma County field stone an massive sandstone elements.

Warner integrated reclaimed redwood beams and wine storage.  Light fixtures on cables were added to gain an authentic cave look.  This project represents his design sensibilities including the integration of many material elements.  Capacity is approximately 100 cases, or 1,200 bottles.
